This children's picture book shares the story of wingless Willow. The smallest of all the fairies, she watches her big sister fly out of the fairy thicket and change the world. Willow watches and wants nothing more than to help her sister. She wants to leave her mark on the world. When her sister tells Willow that she is just too small, Willow decides that she's going to prove her sister wrong. Armed with a satchel of art supplies, Willow steps out into a big world. When Willow runs into trouble, she creates friends who can help find her sister, earning her wings in the process.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Daniel Ruefman is an emerging author of prose and poetry. To date he has published several books, including, most recently, an adult memoir, What the Fuzz? Survival Stories of a Minor League Mascot and a children's picture book, Willow's Wings. A native of northwestern Pennsylvania, Daniel went on to earn degrees from Edinboro University, Slippery Rock University, and IUP, before relocating to the upper Midwest to pursue a career in higher education.
