Bee Club Book

Inhaltsangabe

This fiction novel, penned by local author Mea McNeil, draws from her experiences as a beekeeper and organic farmer. United by their shared passion for bees, the club members grapple with the global decline of these vital insects. Their motivations vary: some tend bees for a living, others for the spiritual connection, while many are captivated by these creatures' unique communication methods and remarkable abilities. Among them is Lilja, a bee-fearing teenager seeking refuge. As they navigate challenges like pests and poor forage, the members also clash over their differing ideologies. Despite human intervention, the bees remain wild and independent, their genes and issues intertwining. At its core, 'Bee Club' is a tale of both bees and the people drawn to their fascinating world.
