Have you ever gazed at the stars and pondered about how beautiful life really is? Have you ever been so heartbroken, or better yet, so in love? Has your mind ever felt so twisted you cannot decipher between rational and irrational?

We all experience whirlwinds of emotion that can be rewarding or daunting at times. Feelings and thoughts emerge playing into the soul of our very own selves. When feelings become so great, when thoughts become so loud, turning to paper is a great way to escape.

My Thoughts Are So Loud presents a series of poems which embody an emotional journey through mental illness, love, heartbreak, nature, and other musings. Writing about these topics has helped me release feelings that were trapped, as well as reflect on feelings of pride and self-worth.
