The early reading series focuses on phonemic awareness. Phonemic awareness is the ability to hear, identify, and manipulate individual sounds, (phonemes) in spoken words. Phonemic awareness is essential for children to develop before they can learn to read. Activities that go along with each of the books can be found on our website.
