Inhaltsangabe

Who is your inner bitch? She is the you that has been there all along. She is the you that is willing to stand up for yourself. The one who knows that a bitch is an empowered, thoughtful woman who is aware of what she wants and knows how to ask for those things. She is a woman who knows that self-care is equally or more important than other-care and who prioritizes herself, knowing that if she is a priority then everything else will fall into place. She is fulfilled, and she has taken the time to explore what she wants and is willing to make and implement plans to get there. She is a woman who understands how her path, bumps and all, made her who she is and who has a vision for her path forward. The purpose of this book is to help women of all ages get in touch with who they are and encourage them to be confident sharing their true selves, to help them understand and embrace that they are worthy of being heard.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Pamela J. Maxson, PhD, ACC, SPHR, is a woman who has experienced the life-changing excavation of her inner bitch. Her professional experience complements her personal experience. Her 20+ years of undergraduate teaching, fifteen years in operational leadership, and her work in leadership and life coaching have provided myriad experiences which have fostered her desire to help people optimize their lives. In her coaching, she specializes in professional and personal development. In the professional realm, she facilitates an individual's understanding of leadership style, maximizing leadership potential, goal and priority setting amidst multiple competing priorities, strength building, communication, work-life integration, and personnel development and management. In the personal realm, she partners with individuals to find their inner bitches, discover and leverage their strengths, align their goals and activities with their values, develop their best lives, manage competing priorities, engage in self-care, and more. This dichotomy between professional and personal, though, is manufactured - we all live our whole lives, just in different contexts. Pamela owns and operates Sol Searching retreats where women can step into a nurturing space where they can reflect on their lives, their relationships, their goals, and their selves. She earned a PhD in Human Development from Pennsylvania State University, is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources, and is a credentialed coach from the International Coaching Federation. Most importantly, she is a wife of over 30 years, a mom of three young adults, a sister, a daughter, a friend, and an inner bitch excavator.
