Drawing Closer to Jesus

• Do you sometimes feel that scripture doesn't seem to apply to your life?
• Have you desired to connect deeper with Jesus in your everyday circumstances?
• Have you ever read a devotional and felt you needed a Bible dictionary just to understand what the author was trying to say?
• Are you looking for a quick but meaningful read?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are in the right place!

• 31 easy-to-read devotionals dedicated to a different topic each day
• Written-out scriptures that relate to the day's topic
• Study questions to apply the scriptures

Using a casual, conversational style (and a little bit of humor along the way), Deborah shares anecdotal and relatable experiences and then brings them together with a look at what Jesus has to say about it all. Several scripture passages that connect with the topic are written out for easier studying. The day's devotional is closed out with three reflection questions about the reading, and a prayer.

• I Have Faith...Sort of (Strengthening our faith)
• Stuck in the Muck (Seeking Jesus)
• Finishing Your Race (Finishing strong)
• A Joyful Noise (The heart of worship)
• The Power of Prayer (Our strongest weapon)
• Life on a Cat's Terms (Having a relationship with Jesus)
• Chocolate-Sinfully Good (The danger of sin)
• Spiritual Earplugs (Stubbornness)

So, grab a cup of coffee and your Bible, and start digging into the Word. But don't be surprised if you see yourself in some of these situations! Just remember, Jesus is in the everyday moments of all of our lives.
