Salvatore Simeone was born in Queens, NY. Growing up on Long Island he developed a love for video games, comic books, Dungeons & Dragons, and local hardcore music. While working as a chef in NYC he spent many a late night watching old horror and sci-fiction films scrounged from bins at Kim's Video Underground. Although he's always enjoyed dabbling in various mediums of art, EVE OF EXTINCTION is his first foray into professional writing.

Steven Simeone was born in New York but grew up on the internet. A steady regimen of science fiction, fantasy, and horror way before he understood what any of it was has left him well-equipped with a constant need to check under beds and over his shoulder. He is a graduate of the University of Houston's Creative Writing Program, where he was co-editor of their undergraduate literary journal GLASS MOUNTAIN during the year it won the National Program Director's Prize for content. His previous work is buried somewhere in the annals of the University of Houston library in his senior honors thesis and centers around themes of fraudulence and non-belonging.
