THE BOOK OF REVELATION - THE STONE COMETH - VOLUME 7 is a verse by verse study of the Book of Revelation. This section, Revelation chapters 17, 18, 19, and 20, records the third great revelation given Jesus Christ by God. This great vision is KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant JohnWe now begin the third great vision given Jesus Christ by God and shown the servants of God through John. (Rev 1:1). You will recall the Lord divided this Revelation of Jesus Christ into four great visions. The book separates each section by John going on a journey in the Spirit. Four times the book used the term "in the Spirit." Each use designates the Book of Revelation's divisions and the total Revelation of Jesus Christ. First Great Vision: Revelation 1:10 I was IN THE SPIRIT on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet.Second Great Vision: Revelation 4:2 And immediately I was IN THE SPIRIT: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.Third Great Vision: Revelation 17:3 So he carried me away IN THE SPIRIT into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.Fourth Great Vision: Revelation 21:10 And he carried me away IN THE SPIRIT to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.These are the only four times John used the phrase in the spirit. With each journey in the spirit, the Lord Jesus gave John a diverse perspective and perception of Jesus Christ. 1. Son of Man * Revelation 1:13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.2. Lamb as if it slain - Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.3. KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS - Revelation 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.4. The Husband of the Lamb's wife - Revelation 21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.Within each great vision are minor visions all dealing with the Revelation of Jesus Christ given Jesus Christ by God and shown the servants through John. Chapter 17: we study The Great Whore and the Beast as the nations are made drunk with the wine of her fornication. Chapter 18: we study The Fall of Babylon and rejoice with all of heaven at her fall.Chapter 19: we study the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS, and cast the Sea Beast and the Land Beast into the Lake of fire forever and ever.Chapter 20: we study the Bottomless Pit and understand the Thousand Years. We study the First Resurrection, Gog and Magog, and watch as the Lord Cast the Devil into the Lake of Fire. The chapter and the third great vision ends with THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT.
