This book is a collection of essays that give practical ideas on how to live out Gospel values in our everyday lives. Each essay was created by me each time I figured out just exactly how to live out one of Jesus’ teachings. I include essays on loving ourselves – a subject rarely mentioned in Christian books, presumably because sin is inspired by selfishness or self-love. But I discovered that self-love, understood rightly, is actually necessary for loving others. Did not Jesus say, “Love your neighbor as yourself”? This book helps us see there is a right way and a wrong way to love ourselves.
