Victor Lineus, one of the most influential and wealthy businessman in the world, wakes up in a hospital with a bullet wound and no memory of the immediate past. The next thing he realises is that an assassin of legendary talent is trying to kill him. He has a nightmare about a woman in a wedding gown begging for help. Can Victor escape an assassin who exists in a names alone? Can he decipher the nightmare and escape his fate? The following is the initial few words in the book. The muffled mud had proliferated through his black leather jacket as he scrambled up with his foggy gaze. His eyelids had remained fastened for the past couple of hours. A horrendous sight lay before him that even Satan would condemn! Mere words comprised in our bare languages would find it arduous to depict this vision. The man was wearing a black leather jacket with his buttons fastened till the collar and a low waist black trouser. His woollen muffler had coiled around his neck.He could feel the cold kiss of the clay on his clean shaved cheeks as he lay with his chest to the ground. The face was turned to the right and his panorama inverted. He was completely drained of his energy resources and lay still as a man painted on a canvas. “I Tried, Victor. I tried. I am sorry. I am so sorry Victor, I could not help it.”Victor opened his eyes slowly with the last bit of strength that he had in his totally depleted reserves of energy. He felt a sturdy rope tightly curled around his wrists pulled taut to a solid support. He pushed himself up on his knees and the mud made it difficult for him to stand. He realised instantly that he wasn’t in his house. He saw a river not a few feet away from him whose water was churning with fresh human blood! He then turned his head dreamily towards the solid support to which the rope was tied. One end of the rope was tied to an archaic chariot of unusual large size and the other end was tied to both his wrists. It looked like the chariot had dragged him to the banks of that river and yet he could not excavate any traces from his memory. The chariot was pulled by one horse whose eyes were glowing red in the night sky.The stars were enveloped by the clouds whose presence was demonic. Then Victor saw the horseman. A person whose mere presence would certify that he was an incarnated devil straight from hell. The horseman was wearing a black suit with a red tie with formal shoes. Victor could make out the stains of blood on his clothes. He slowly raised his eyes to see his face. This sight took him with horror and fear. The horseman had no head! He was a headless horseman. He was at a staggering height of 7 feet with an immense muscular built. His clothes had been badly worn out and he stood in the mud like a statue. In his right hand he clasped an axe with blood stains and at his feet were a pile of beheaded human heads who stared Victor in the eye! Not able to suffer the pain of the scene he turned his head towards the other bank of the river. He hadn’t realise yet that Satan himself was present there. The other side of the bank was covered with high towering coniferous trees and in the midst of this magnificent horizon there was a misplaced banyan tree. The banyan tree too was of immense size and in the dim moonlight of the night sky it was illuminated perfectly with shining branches and leaves.A rope was tied to one of the branches and it was pulled taut almost perpendicular to the ground by a hanging body. The rope was coiled around her neck and it looked as if she had committed suicide by hanging from the tree branch. Her blue crystal clear eyes was something that Victor could not overlook. She had a pale skin and dried lips and was remarkably beautiful. Her body was swaying lightly with wind while the rope made a creaking sound. She was wearing a white wedding gown and Victor realised that she was a bride. Her hair was dried up in the cold wind and the gown was good as new.
