He started a Jewish newspaper to share his new ideas and built a synagogue across the street from Cincinnati’s City Hall. He founded a seminary where both women and men could study, inspiring a new kind of Judaism, dream by dream.

Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

In addition to writing for children, Geri Kolesar has taught environmental education in Maine, worked for a United States Senator, and practiced law. She lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she dedicates her time to family, community, and writing for children.

Sofia Moore is a Ukrainian-American artist and illustrator based in Las Vegas, Nevada. She grew up reading folktales in her grandmother's house and drawing princesses on the back of textbooks. She loves painting traditionally, but also layers textures both on paper and digitally.
