Moreover, the reader will gain an insight as to how exactly this deranged soul was created. To make things more interesting, the journal entries are written in multiple styles of verse (poetry). The reader has to read each word very closely, and consider that each word, rhyme scheme and style were chosen to add depth and leave room for the reader to interpret much of the story on his/her own. The entirety of this narrative is designed to create a struggle within the reader as he/she will question any notion of "right," "wrong," "good," or "evil" supposedly possessed before reading this novel.
