Normally a hydroelectric power plant produces enough electrical power which is sufficient for various domestic and industrial purposes. But when transmission of this electrical power is done, then because of transmission constraints and increase in load or number of consumers, it is not possible to utilize this generated power totally. As population is increasing or we can say as per present scenario, so in past years due to increase in population the consumption of electrical power is going up day by day. This is resulting in to the burden on the transient stability limits of the power generation systems.
