Welcome to the most engaging year of your life. This holistic guide offers activists young and old ways to support the marginalized and rehumanize the dehumanized. In working for peace and justice daily, readers will participate actively in education, discourse, and action to uphold the inherent dignity of the preborn, the elderly and disabled, the incarcerated, and those at risk from policy brutality, racism, poverty, human trafficking, and war. Activities include direct service to those at risk from violence, advocating for human-centered public policy, raising awareness, and perhaps most importantly: celebrating life.

Mary Grace Coltharp Mary Grace Coltharp served as an intern for Rehumanize International during the summer of 2018. She was awarded the Y.E.S. (Youth Exemplifying Service) Award for her volunteer work at a church and with a community in Tamara, Honduras during one of her summer breaks. After graduating high school, she went on to take a gap year dedicated to service of her fellow human beings. Travelling not only the country but also the globe, she served all people, from the preborn and their parents in Texas to the poor elderly in NYC. She strives to bring her passion for human dignity into every sphere of her life. She currently attends Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD and is searching for the major that will lead her to make a meaningful impact on the world. Aimee C. Murphy Aimee Murphy is the founder and Executive Director of Rehumanize International, a non-partisan, secular organization dedicated to bringing an end to all aggressive violence against human beings through education, discourse, and action. After a personal conversion to the cause against abortion as a teen, she was able to identify and defend a holistic ethic of non-violence during her time in university: the Consistent Life Ethic. Through her work with Rehumanize International, Aimee is reaching people all over the globe with the consistent message of human rights and is creating and engaging in effective dialogue to change hearts and minds. Aimee currently resides in Pittsburgh with her profoundly supportive husband Kyle, their dog, and --in the spirit of radical hospitality-- whichever friends wander into the Murphy household.
