For the last seven years, Tiberius J. Muck and his buddies have won the coveted Van Courtland Glen Country Club’s golf tournament. This year, however, Travis Dempsey has a plan to beat Muck and take the trophy. He and his friends will need their ‘A’ game, a little luck, the forbearance of the club’s stern, Scottish starter, McTavish, and the tracking abilities of Arnie P., Dempsey’s Jack Russell terrier. If all goes according to plan, Dempsey’s foursome will take the trophy, but no one anticipates how popular ‘golf dogs’ will become for the rest of the players. By tournament’s end, the trophy is up for grabs, the local animal rights group is up in arms, and a large pack of domesticated dogs are up to no good.
