The Last Damn Diet takes the best-of-the-best of all the most popular diets books and puts them into a single, common-sense guide that will help you create a lifestyle that naturally results in your ideal body weight. It doesn't involve any extreme eating plans, or overhauling your life on a "start" day, or requirements to start an exercise program that you simply can't stand and won't stay on.
Instead, it's a simple formula of common-sense strategies and knowledge that you integrate into your life over time, in a way that works for you personally. For example, proper hydration can solve many of your diet dramas without any changes to your eating habits. Discover how and why something as simple as drinking the proper amount of water could be the key to your weight loss success.
Even if you're currently trying one of today's popular diets, this book is the ideal supplement to make sure you're not missing any of the key steps for long term success and healthy living. You'll learn how to easily keep blood sugar balanced, how to use amino acids to curb food cravings, how to wean toxic foods out of your diet and replace them with energy-enhancing foods, and how to use supplements temporarily while you adjust your eating program so you can eventually stop using them (they were originally meant to be a temporary solution).
You will also discover:
- Blood Sugar - the Key to Weight Loss: Learn simple eating hacks for stable blood sugar and sustained energy, as well as how to indulge in your favorite treats without throwing your blood sugar out of balance.

Author Julie Nygard has studied nutrition her entire life. As a young athlete, she became fascinated by the way foods affect the body. She regularly ran studies on herself to see what worked and what didn't, and read and tried all of the trending diet books for many years. She took nutrition and biology classes while earning a degree in psychology. She then worked in the sporting goods industry for 18 years, all while continuing to study her passion for nutrition through research and personal experience. While struggling to lose baby-weight after her second child in her thirties, she decided to study nutrition formally, and earned a Nutrition Educator's title from Bauman College of Holistic Nutrition in Boulder, Colorado. Julie has maintained her weight for more than 30 years, and still enjoys the same sports she did in her youth, including mountain biking, skiing, climbing, trail running and more. In The Last Damn Diet, she shares the most powerful techniques learned from a lifetime commitment to nutrition and healthful living.
