Nevarrah (Nə-vár-ə) is a recreational area created from the reclaimed Nevada Atomic Bomb Test Site. Or is it? Radiologist Aleena Carr enters to verify that radioactive waste has been "nullified" only to find that the former desert has been transformed into a northern forest biome peopled by halflings, dwarves, elves, dangerous animals, and one very enigmatic wizard. Entering at the same time is Norman Wells, president of Save Our Desert. He and a member of the organization, a nuclear physicist, plan to take down Nevarrah before plans for a Phase II can be accomplished.
