I may be home, but I'm not really here. When I was locked in a cell, I somehow felt stronger than I do now. Everywhere I look, it reminds me of how grateful I should be to be home. But hundreds are still in captivity because I failed to save them. I know I need to stay vertical so I can find them all, and I'm gonna try. Now she's here. I'm holding her, and somehow, it feels like I'm alone. But I'll do what I've always done. I'll push that thought to the back of my mind, hold her tighter, and remind myself that one day, she'll really be here again. One day, I'll have the love of my lives back.
