These poems have been written and collected during a period of anorexia, as well as everything else that happened during the time. It was a period accompanied by numerous feelings and thoughts. It was Hell to live through. The author has made the paintings and drawings that illustrate the poems. It is very difficult to grasp if you have not lived through such an experience, especially in describing what is happening in the mind of someone with anorexia. Often, it creates much powerlessness and incomprehension. These poems carry you into the emotional world of an anorexic angel; a world as dark as night. This collection is for anyone who wants to understand the disease, and for fellow sufferers who could use a shot in the arm. Inge Van Den Broeck (1977) is a single mother. Together with her daughter (2004), she lives with her parents where she gets all her support. For more than ten years, she has been fighting anorexia. She has never thought of overcoming the disease. As a young teenager, Inge started writing poetry as an outlet for her feelings, which has never stopped. After her victory, she finally lives and enjoys everything.
