Volume Two of my intended five book series 'IN MY OPINION' continues the story of my lifelong search for knowledge, understanding and my own beliefs. My search also includes looking for and finding humor in just about everything. Each entry begins with an essay written by me. It is italicized as are many of my comments interspersed throughout the entry, so readers know who to blame. Fearing that reading my opinions alone might turn off some readers, by including thousands of quotations, alternative opinions are found. You can't really learn much by only looking for allies, who feel the same as you. That indicates a closed mind and I have long felt that if their is a God or a first cause, humans were created to raise questions and seek answers, not necessarily in that order. To fulfill one's purpose requires a doubting mind, one that doesn't just accept the opinions and beliefs of others, but wishes to discover those that survived one's questions. In my long-time quest for understanding I have been aided by six helpers, the questions, who, what, when, where, why, and how. If even one of these questions is not asked when seeing knowledge and things to believe is a mess of ideas in which their connection to one another is still missing. In sharing my opinions, my goal is not to gain converts, but to challenge my readers to think about the questions which have always fascinated humans, and give their own, perhaps only partial answers. I firmly believe that the best way to learn what your know and believe is by writing about things. Just remember everything is interesting to some, whose explorations in the subject indicate they are aware of why they were created and in their live they have added something to store of knowledge.
