A compilation of poems by Daniel Vera including poetry from 2000-2018. Daniel Vera is a poet, a painter, a musician, writer, graphic novelist and digital video creator. Beginning his journey in life, he found the art of drawing and storytelling. During scholastic study, he enjoyed reading but never took the mantle of writer as a journey he would venture. Through his high school and college years he concentrated on colors and storytelling through a mixture of visuals and words. He also created poetry through songs and once in while would write a poem without music. After his studies, he began realizing that he enjoyed the art form of the written word and the possibilities it held. He decided to walk the road of the writer and began it with poetry, in which the abstract is easily attainable. These are his experiments through his early years through his thirties, speaking on love, loss, finding strength through adversity, fatherhood, the art life and the soul.
