I am a qualified teacher, with over eighteen year’s teaching experience, and have been tutoring children for the 11+ exam for over 11 years. During this time, I have gained a very good understanding regarding the support they need in order to thoroughly prepare for the exam.Following the publication of my verbal reasoning book, I turned my attention to maths. Once again, I found that more practice questions were needed to help children master the skills required to pass the 11+. Many of the topics required for the test are new to the children. Therefore, they need clear explanations and repetition to aid their learning. My students have benefited from this approach and gain confidence and understanding as they work through the questions. The vast majority pass the paper each year, with some achieving scores exceeding 90%. My overall pass rate in the 11+ is very high so feel I must be doing something right! My new book contains over 500 questions covering a wide range of the topics tested. I hope that it can guide your child to success. Always remember…..Practice Makes Perfect!
