Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Alexis Romero Walker is assistant professor at Manhattanville University and senior researcher at the Geena Davis Institute.

Tegan R. Bratcher is lecturer at the University of Maryland in College Park and senior researcher at the Geena Davis Institute .

Amy R. May is Professor of Communication and Department Chair at University of Alaska Fairbanks Troth Yeddha', USA. Her current scholarship focuses on how power may be used in digital media to silence marginalized and disenfranchised populations, excluding them from conversations regarding climate change, environmental science, and scientific discourse. Dr. May's research has been published in Journal of Communication Pedagogy, Women & Language, and Journal of Applied Communication Research.

Victoria McDermott is Assistant Professor, Director of the Communication Graduate Program, and Foundational Communication Course Direction at University of Alaska Fairbanks Troth Yeddha'. Her research explores the communication of power in traditionally masculine environments and has been published in the Journal of Communication Pedagogy, Public Relations Review, and Communication Education. She has been first editor of Supporting the Military-Affiliated Learner, Women of the Wild, and Women Educators' Experiences During COVID-19.
