Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Barbara Gomes Serafino is a retired trial attorney living in the Atlanta suburbs who will always consider herself a "Brooklyn girl." Raised to be proud of her Italian and Portuguese heritage, family has been her greatest joy. She dedicated her first book, a memoir, The Book "I Always Promised: Family Curses, Stregas & Adventures from Italy, Portugal & Brooklyn", to her grandmother, Christina, who emigrated from Italy to the USA in 1920. In addition to writing and painting, she enjoys amateur astronomy, paranormal radio, and traveling with her husband and friends. Barbara is pictured above in 2022, visiting the historic site of the 1969 Woodstock festival located in Bethel Woods, New York.
