Stephanie True Peters is a freelance children's book writer with a diverse portfolio of published works featuring princesses and swamp monsters, inspirational men and heroic dogs, sports of all sorts and Greek mythology. An avid reader, workout enthusiast, animal lover, and a firm believer that our words and actions matter, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her children, Jackson and Chloe. She lives in Mansfield, Massachusetts, with her husband Dan.

Forrest Burdett is an illustrator from New Jersey with a passion for vibrant colors and homemade hummus. Born into a family of creatives, Forrest has been making art since he was a child scribbling in notebooks. He studied illustration at FIT in New York City and now lives in Portland, Oregon.
