�ber die Autorinnen und Autoren

Gwendolyn Poindexter is a retired attorney who lives with her husband in a hillside community in Los Angeles, California. She was inspired to write her first children's book, Zoe the Short-Necked Giraffe, by the stories she and her husband would tell their two (then) young sons at dinner time. Rosie the Rhino and the Great Escape is a sequel of sorts, as it includes characters from Zoe-as well as a few new animals-to tell a tale of friendship and the value of having a diverse group of friends.

Pat Rees is an artist and occasional book illustrator who lives in Altadena, California. Since retiring from web design, she spends her time working in her backyard art studio and in her vegetable garden. Her art is online at www.patriciarees.com.
