Heather Mathes is a veteran model and fit model born and raised in Ohio. She began professional modeling in 1988 at age 18 while in college. She graduated from the Ohio State University with a BS in marketing in 1993 and continued modeling after graduation. She got her first contract fit modeling in 1996 at the age of 26. She retired to become a mom in 2008 and then came out of retirement in 2016 at age 46 to continue fit modeling for the same company at the exact measurements she was in her twenties, not because she had to, but because she had developed health and wellness methods that kept her weight from fluctuating. She lives in Columbus, OH with her husband, her son and her dog.
