Nella Khanis, Russian born American artist, and Linda Mulé, grandmother of three young children, are beach buddies who swim every day at Sigsbee Beach. The story of Boris is based on their experiences on a beautiful October day. Linda rescued a crab and Nella imagined Boris's story.
