The Works and Missions Baptist Church has grown to more than 300,000 members after 40 years of missionary activity. Effective organization has been able to establish more than 1,800 local churches and some 12,000 prayer cells called "house churches" in Ivory Coast and other countries. As of today, it has a staff of 700 full-time pastors and missionaries, both men and women, working with 80,000 workers.
