This "first comic book" was made to help motivate young children to pick up their pencils not only to draw but to also write. 84 pages (42 spreads) feature 9 squares to draw pictures and the opposite page has handwriting lines - perfect for children pre-k through 3rd grade. There is a surprise at the end of the book - 10 pages for the game sea battle, and 10 pages of hexagon paper. The paper is a cream paper that is a little thicker than copy paper, but we still recommend pencils as markers may bleed through.
