AnnMarie Papa, DNP, RN, CEN, NE-BC, FAEN, FAAN, is an energetic and engaging leader who mentors and inspires many. She has presented on many topics related to leadership and nursing regionally, nationally, and internationally. Holding a BSN and MSN from Villanova University and a DNP from Waynesburg University, Papa is also a Fellow in both the Academy of Emergency Nursing and the American Academy of Nursing.With over 49 years of experience, Papa has a proven track record of successful team building, innovative problem-solving, and leadership development. She is an authentic, transformational, and servant leader with a strong background in organizational development. She consistently leads teams to enhance quality outcomes and fosters interprofessional collaboration and healthy work environments.Papa is a thought leader and sought-after speaker on leadership, mentoring, and many other topics. She is a recipient of the National ENA Lifetime Achievement Award, Judith Kelleher Award, 2011 Villanova University College of Nursing Alumni Medallion, Health Leaders Media Top 20, and many other local, state, and national awards for leadership, professionalism, and team building. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she was recognized as a Legend in Nursing by Mainline Healthcare Leaders and received the DAISY Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2011 she served as the National ENA President and recently retired from her role of Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Jefferson Einstein Montgomery.
