Praise for Talkin’ to You, Bro!:

“Elwood Watson’s Talkin’ to You, Bro! offers a funny, sharp, and provocative take on a pressing subject: masculinity in the twenty-first century-- the challenges men face and the pathologies that afflict them. What is especially refreshing about Watson’s books is his willingness to address men directly in order to inspire change. Without minimizing the problem of toxic masculinity, his book wagers that the best strategy for mitigating its harmful effects is to offer men guidance, to encourage them to abandon the ‘manly’ behaviours that prevent them from leading happy lives, developing healthy relationships, or making a positive contribution to society.”

-- Timothy Aubry, Ph.D. Professor of English, Baruch College

“What makes Talkin’ to You, Bro! So profound is that it covers topics relevant to ALL men, irrespective of race, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or any other factors that have been traditionally used to separate men. I highly recommend this to any man looking to better himself, the quality of his relationships, and his overall satisfaction with life. You’ll learn a lot from Dr. Elwood Watson’s straightforward approach and, more importantly, walk away as a better version of yourself, ready to engage in robust conversations with other guys looking to change the narrative on what it means to be a quality man in our ever-changing world.”
