Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Married for 44 years and business partners for 35 years, Harold and Tina Lewis have managed to successfully run the HRL Group which has owned 20 McDonald’s franchises for more than 30 years. The couple have three children, including their son Jeremy, who was a successful second-generation franchisee.

Harold Lewis is an expert in business management and has been a guest lecturer at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). Tina Lewis is an Ambassador for Susan G Komen and as a breast cancer survivor, serves on Komen’s National Speakers Bureau.

The couple has also established the Visionary and Inspirational Leaders Scholarship, now known as African American Future Achievers Scholarship Program (AVAIL) which has awarded more than $850,000 to help students of African-American descent go to college. The couple’s oral and video history is part of the History Makers collection at the Library of Congress.
