After two centuries Edyn is once again threatened by demons. The warrior-monk Silbane and his apprentice Arek are ordered to investigate a gate which has opened under the ancient stronghold of Bara'cor. Arek has a unique ability - to negate magic - and his master has been ordered to use that power to save Edyn, pushing his apprentice through to close the rift between worlds.
