Wish, A Musical - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

Eleven-year-old Charlie makes the same secret wish every day: to have a family in which everyone looks after each other. But her mom barely gets out of bed in the morning, her dad is in jail and when Charlie is sent to live with distant relatives in a small Appalachian town, her dream seems even more out of reach. There she meets an uncommonly valiant neighbor boy, a big-hearted aunt and a skinny stray dog. Could it be that wishes come true in even the most improbable places—and will Charlie recognize it before it’s too late? Adapted from the New York Times best-selling novel Wish by Barbara O’Connor.
