Far to often we as parents are lost in the college recruiting process and just getting to this stage. Situations like this have strengthened my resolve to remain an advocate for teen athletes of all levels. I feel strongly that we as parents must help our aspiring child-athletes know and do what they must in order to qualify to play sports in college. But to do that, we must have the right information to get them on the proper path. This is where "You Don’t Know What You Don’t Know: The Sports Parent’s Guide" comes in. I’ve written this book not so much for the 1 percent of child-athletes who have been classified as “elite” but for the parents of the other 99 percent who dream of playing college sports and obtaining an athletic scholarship.
