Topics include:the ancient paths of contemplative prayer the secret place, solitude, and interior silence postures of the heart nurturing a prayer life Prioritizing our relationship with Jesus is the most appropriate response to His constant call for greater intimacy. What Others Say About This Book: In a world of noise that penetrates us from without and within, divine silence is the most vital spiritual praxis we must recover. Nevertheless, there are "methodless methods" handed to us by the Great Tradition to assist our return to rest, fostering an awareness of our unity in the Trinitarian life.
