Hebrew for Regular People is an 8-week congregational or small group curriculum that brings aspects of the Old Testament’s language, culture, and practices to life for people who haven’t gone to seminary but still love to learn. The Hebrew Scriptures are “living and active” and have the ability to breathe new life into us and mold us into the people we were created to be. And yet, not everyone experiences this transformation when engaging the Bible in community. This Participant’s Guide is designed to help you get the most out of your experience in this course by providing materials that support the creative and interactive elements of the course. Throughout Hebrew for Regular People participants will be encouraged to slow down, to sit with the Scriptures, and to explore practices that connect them to God, each other, and themselves.
