Researchers of cognitive communication disorders update the textbook for a graduate course on these disorders. In this third edition, they expand the material on mild cognitive impairment to address concussion-related communication disorders, update and expand information on assessing disordered cognitive processes, and add a companion website. They cover attention; principles of human memory: an integrative clinical neuroscience perspective; executive functions: theory, assessment, and treatment; cognitive communication deficits associated with right hemisphere brain damage; primary progressive aphasia; dementia: concepts and contemporary practice; cognitive communication disorders of mild traumatic brain injury; and traumatic brain injury.
