He credits his dedication and ambition to the grandparents who raised him, instilling in him the value of life and working hard.People who do not know R.J. well may believe him to be serious, or even mad all the time. In actuality, he is deep inthought plotting his next storyline. The truth is R.J loves to laugh, but that sound is often reserved for the closest people inhis life. He's actually a soul food and barbeque kinda guy and loves hanging out with his kids.One of R. J's favorite things is engaging in conversations with the "normal" people of the world, the people whose storiesare often forgotten or brushed off as not important. R.J. believes these are the people who most often have a valuable story to tell. He loves to interact with them as they serve as inspiration for writing ideas.Because of his busy work life, R.J spends much of his time at his places of business and sleeping to recover from a very fullschedule. In his spare moment, he works on his books, the latest being an exciting heist novel.
