He has been featured on C-Span TV, The History Channel, National Geographic TV, Book TV, NPR, and PBS. He is a former Associated Press Broadcast Editor in Philadelphia and a senior writer in the books division of U.S. News & World Report. He lives in Potomac, Maryland.
