Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Janet S. Fox writes award-winning fiction and nonfiction for children and young adults but has won fans of all ages. Her newest novel, The Charmed Children of Rookskill Castle (Viking, 2016), has received starred reviews from Kirkus, Booklist, and Publishers Weekly. She received an MFA in writing for children and young adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts in 2010. Janet, her husband, and their energetic dog live in Bozeman, Montana, where they enjoy the mountain vistas.


Cheri J. Meiners, M.Ed., has her master’s degree in elementary education and gifted education. A former first-grade teacher, she has taught education classes at Utah State University and has supervised student teachers.

Cheri and her husband, David, have six children and enjoy the lively company of their grandchildren. They live in St. George, Utah.


Elizabeth Allen is an artist and professional illustrator of children’s picture books as well as a former songwriter and jazz musician.

She has exhibited her art in galleries in the Midwest and on the East Coast.

Elizabeth lives on a river running through a forest near St. Paul, Minnesota.
