Partial capo pioneer & guitar wizard Harvey Reid unveils yet another impressive collection of secrets from the amazing hidden partial capo landscape. As only he can, Reid shows you how to get this new music out of your guitar, with another book full of capo ideas, most of which have never been revealed anywhere before. Most people think that partial capos are only used to imitate the sound of open tunings, and don't realize that you gain access to another mysterious world of music when you combine the 2 ideas. This book shows you a dizzying number of partial capo configurations that combine with DADGAD tuning to give you another set of musical possibilities. Each of the 26 ideas here reveals a new set of chords, fingerings, voicings, resonances and melodic options that will leave your ears ringing and your head spinning. If you already play in DADGAD tuning, you'll be astounded at what new possibilities partial capos give you that no one has ever heard played on a guitar before. You can do them all with a universal (Third Hand or SpiderCapo) but some of them work best with the Planet Waves Trio, an Esus capo (3-string model), or the Woodie's G-Band Model 1 and 2. If you are an advanced partial capo user or if you play in these tunings a lot, you'll be mesmerized by this book. Capo Voodoo books are clear and precise, and carefully show you where to put the capos and how to get the new music. Packed with chord diagrams, tips, tricks, guitar strategy and advice, the Capo Voodoo books are the only in-depth source of information in the world about this exciting new dimension in the guitar. As always, this Capo Voodoo book is clear, precise, and packed full of pictures, explanations, tips, strategy and helpful musical advice. In Book 4 of his Capo Voodoo series, partial capo pioneer Harvey Reid takes you into a place where almost no guitarist has ever been and shows you over 25 ways to use partial capos in DADGAD and CGDGAD tunings to expand yet again what is possible to play on a guitar.
