It was December 1950. She later became a nurse and married me in the summer of 1971.

�ber die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Born in 1937, John Chung came to New York in 1973 as a thirty-seven-year-old Korean with only a hundred dollars to his name, pursuing his dream of “making it” in America. John worked in the dry cleaning industry for twenty-five years until retiring in 1997. He has published and distributed hundreds of instruction manuals to dry cleaners and laundromat owners, enabling them to improve their management and save money on equipment assembly and repair. He is a columnist for Dry Cleaners Times and Korea Daily New York. John is also the author of four other books. This is the true story of how John came to America and accomplished his dreams. This book is a collection of vivid stories of the miracles he has witnessed, the difficulties he has overcome, and the successes he has achieved. John Chung wrote this book to tell his grandchildren, Clair and Leah, of the wonderful world we live in and how to live in it.
