Jerry Dorsman is a mental health and addictions counselor who works in Maryland. His first book, "How to Quit Drinking Without AA," is a recovery bestseller, having sold more than 125,000 copies. He is also the author of "How to Quit Drugs for Good" and the contributing author of "Live Longer while Feeling Younger: A Guide to Health and Happiness as We Age."

He was a fiction semifinalist in the William Faulkner Creative Writing Contest in 2002 and 2012, and a creative nonfiction winner in 2013. Bob helps direct the Delaware Literary Connection, a nonprofit serving writers in Delaware and surrounding areas.
