Father God, it's me again...Mary - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

Follow the fascinating prayer life of Mary, the young woman chosen by God for the most unique ministry in history - bearing and raising Jesus, the Son of God! Her joys, fears, challenges and trials come alive through her thoughts and prayers to her Father God. This story is enlivened as the reader joins a modern-day girls' Sunday School class learning lessons following the life of Mary. The reader is transported into two very different worlds-an intimate, biblically-based glimpse into the thoughts, trials and prayers of a young, first-century Mary and a lively class of girls today probably no older than Mary herself. "...Father God, it's me again...Mary, serves to enliven the senses and creatively engages the reader with real challenges, joys, and struggles. It effectively transports the impact of the story from 1st century Judea to a modern context. Not only does it serve to bridge the distance between the ages, it also helps highlight the real drama of a personal relationship with God...It is a highly enjoyable read that will motivate the reader to engage in an examination of their own faith." Rev. Douglas McGuire Pastor-Teacher Grace Centre for Biblical Studies "I see both a need and a desire to have such a book in our library and our homes. Many women want to relate and attempt to understand Mary's prayer journey; this is a unique way to present it..." Susan Badke Women's Ministries Leader Squamish Baptist Church Sharon started attending Sunday School at 3 weeks old. Over the years she has been privileged to teach Sunday School to different ages as well as lead women's Bible Studies. God has blessed her with a godly husband and three wonderful children.
