Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Ann Rand (1918–2007) trained as an architect at IIT, where she studied with Mies van der Rohe. She was the author of several children's books: Little 1, Sparkle and Spin, and I Know a Lot of Things.

Ingrid Fiksdahl King is an architect and painter. She is a coauthor, with Christopher Alexander, of A Pattern Language, first published in 1977 and still one of the most influential books on architecture and planning ever published. She is from Norway and now lives in Berkeley, CA.
