Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Frances L. Devine grew up in the great state of Texas, where she wrote her first story at the age of nine. She moved to Southwest Missouri more than twenty years ago and fell in love with the hills, the fall colors, and Silver Dollar City. Frances has always loved to read, especially cozy mysteries, and considers herself blessed to have the opportunity to write in her favorite genre. She is the mother of seven adult children and has fourteen wonderful grandchildren.

Cynthia Hickey grew up in a family of storytellers and moved around the country a lot as an army brat. Her desire is to write about real, but flawed characters in a wholesome way that her seven children and five grandchildren can all be proud of. She and her husband live in Arizona where Cynthia is a full-time writer.

Marilyn Leach has enjoyed writing for the stage as well as for publication. She became a "dyed in the wool" British enthusiast, after visiting England where she discovered her roots. She currently teaches art at an inner-city school near Denver, Colorado, and lives lakeside near the foothills.

Winter A. Peck is a storyteller at heart. Her first vivid memories are of summer family reunions spent listening to stories of the past. Winter leans heavily on her mid-western roots, her love of the Old West, and the rodeo, weaving each aspect into her books. When she's not writing, she's busy coaching junior high girl's volleyball, staying active in her church, and juggling the active life of a military wife. She's the mother of three boys and one cowgirl in training. Currently, Winter and her family live in North Central Illinois.
