Donna Diegel served as the pastry chef at four upscale country inns in New England and was a commercial caterer and founder of a commercial baking concern in Vermont. She teaches vegan cooking, writes for several food websites including Baking and Desserts, Providence Food Examiner, and the National Food Blog Examiner, and has self- published two vegetarian cookbooks. She also reviews cookbooks and is a member of "Operation Baking Gals".

Donna Diegel is an experienced vegan baker with over 25 years of experience in the food industry. She's owned and operated a commercial catering business as well as wholesale and retail bakeries in both New Hampshire and Vermont, and she's served as the pastry chef at a number of prestigious New England inns. Donna has also been a writer and educator about organic cooking, self-published two vegetarian cookbooks, taught healthful and vegan cooking classes throughout the country, and dabbled in organic produce farming.
