Robert E. Picirilli, Ph.D., is an author, theologian, historian, biblical scholar, and educator known for his work in Arminian theology within the Free Will Baptist tradition. He spent his career teaching and in academic administration at Welch College, where he became professor emeritus of Greek and New Testament studies. He has authored or co-authored numerous books and written several articles published in theological journals and served as the general editor and frequent author for the Randall House Bible Commentary series. He lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
